Wet spot palette

August 12th, 2008

If an easy method around the colours is to be held slightly humid as well as to extend the dehydration time of acrylic colours and oil paints. As a palette here serves normal pan liner, best of all white pan liner.

We need a small plate, on this plate there do not come two situations absorbent culinary paper, handkerchiefs or toilet paper own to themselves. Then one slowly pours water about the culinary paper, the culinary paper should be humid and not be wet, now we can lay the pan liner on the humid culinary paper, because that pan liner automatically gets the humidity holds the colours always nicely in live.

Welcome,

August 10th, 2008

on my Blog with the subject area of the scalemodeling. My name: Norman, I am 32 years old and live in Hamburg/Germany/Europa. With my Blog I want to introduce my works of the military model construction. Predominantly it are settled military models from the 2nd world war and figures from different epochs of the contemporary history, but predominantly during the 2nd world war, my preferential scale are with vehicles 1:35, with figures 1:16 / 1:15, 1:35 and 120 mm, however, there is also excluded.

How have I come for the model construction? Simply! how actually every scalemodeler, as a small child. My father had built the first armoured models from Tamiya with me and bit by bit I have occupied with all from the range of modelkits, as e.g. vehicles of all kind, ships, airplanes and spaceships, Sometime I have lost the desire and then followed the way of the RC-Modeling (Remote-Control Racingcars).  Now after long time without works on modelkits I want to animate with pleasure this hobby again for myself anew.

In the last time I have cleared up my hobbyroom, model kits, figures, colours, glues and tools procures to start again, absolutely I must learn an amount in techniques, because there was, nevertheless, a lot of changes during the last years of the modelworld. Not to expect so please at the beginning too much from me, from the beginner to the pro is a long way!

Now what does one expect from this web site or better this Blog?

I would provide with pleasure the Fascination of the scalemodeling, the techniques, Like-minded one find here with pleasure providing your experiences, present my modelwork, news from the manufacturers.

So, that was it for the first time….
